Aamir Khan's latest blockbuster film '3 Idiots' will see a remake soon. Gemini Films Circuit has bagged the remake rights of this Rajkumar Hirani movie for a bomb - Rs. 10 cr. The production house will make the movie in Telugu and Tamil, with separate star cast and technical crew, they say.
Just like how they bought the remake rights of ‘Munnabhai’ for a big sum, they have acquired the rights of the 2009 movie too.
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, '3 Idiots' is currently in the thick of a controversy. With the author Chetan Bhagat claiming that the film is heavily inspired from his book ‘Five Point Someone’ and that he has not been given due credit by the filmmakers, the film has triggered the sales of FPS too.
Now we have to wait for a remake soon, but the question is - will our heroes sign-up for a multistarrer and share the screen space with other stars?
