Vijay as fisherman in 'Sura'

Vijay plays a fisherman in 'Sura', his 50th film. The superstar has already started filming for the flick, being produced by Sangili Murugan and directed by SP Rajkumar. A song of the film was shot at AVM Studios in Chennai recently.

Tamannaah plays the female lead and Dev Gill, who played the high profile villain in the Telugu blockbuster 'Magadheera', starring Ram Charan Teja in the lead, will make his debut in Tamil with this movie.

Vijay has completed his portions for his 49th movie, 'Vettaikkaran', produced by AVM. Sangili Murugan plans to release 'Sura' on June 22, the birthday of the Ilaiya Thalapathi.
